The 96th edition of the Oscars took place last Sunday, the ABC television network that broadcast the Hollywood Academy Awards gala in the United States, sold out all the advertising spaces for the event.
According to Disney Advertising, the company in charge of marketing advertising on ABC (which is in turn a subsidiary of the Mickey Mouse company), announced that it had sold all the advertising inventory for the Oscars edition, for whose advertising breaks Advertisers from 17 different categories paraded.
Beyond exhausting the advertising spaces for the 96th edition of the Oscars, which had Jimmy Kimmel as master of ceremonies, ABC has managed to market those advertising spaces at a slightly higher price than last year.
In 2024, ABC set the Oscar advertising price range between $1.7 and $2.2 million for each 30-second spot, which is a similar range to that of the 2022 edition. Last year, advertising prices at the Oscars, however, began to decline and ranged between $1.6 and $2.1 million for each 30-second ad.
