Facebook fully enters the world of digital payment through Facebook Pay. It does so in the U.S. throughout this week with objectives such as making purchases in the Marketplace, donations, buying games and tickets, sending money between friends or buying promoted products.
This new form of payment is compatible with the vast majority of payment cards, whether credit or debit, and with companies such as 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐏𝐚𝐥, 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐞 and others of the same operation. It will also be possible to unify the payment in the different applications or use it separately in each of them.
Security has also been carefully studied, so that purchases can be protected by using a PIN code or by using the biometrics of the mobile phone itself.
